Our guided tour in Rabat will then focus on discovering the history of Rabat. The tour includes a visit to the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah des Ouddaya, the mausoleum of Mohammed V. Your driver will meet you after breakfast to begin your guided tour which includes a visit to the Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid Plaza Uta el-Hammam and a tour of this beautiful city. Chefchaouen is the "blue pearl" of Morocco. It is known as such because of a distinctive blue color that all inhabitants use to paint their houses. This tradition goes back to Jewish traditions and beliefs that the color blue represents the sky, which in turn reminds us of the sky and God. The color that covers the city gives it an amazing charm and a feeling and atmosphere of relaxation, comfort and peace. Have you heard of pearls and gems that heal? Well, this one really works.
Next, we will head to Fez. On the way, we will stop at Volubilis and Meknes. The archaeological site of Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will walk around the Roman and Berber remains that once occupied it. Then, the trip will continue to the imperial city of Meknes, one of the least visited in Morocco. It was built by Moulay Ismail and was designed to be the "Versailles of Morocco". After meeting your local guide, you will visit the famous gates of Bab El Mansour and Lhri.
