Ce circuit de 5 jours de Marrakech à Fès à travers le désert du Sahara, vous permettra de visiter de nombreux sites étonnants. Notamment : les montagnes du Haut Atlas, le col de Tizi-N-Tichka, la Kasbah d'Ait-Ben-Haddou et la ville de Ouarzazate. En plus de la Kasbah d'Amridil, la vallée du Dades et les gorges de Todra. Visitez également le désert et les dunes de Merzouga. Où vous pourrez monter à dos de chameau, assister à des couchers et des levers de soleil magiques et passer la nuit dans un bivouac dans le désert. Explorez le désert du Sahara de Merzouga en 4x4. En outre, vous visiterez le marché traditionnel de Rissani, et Erfoud, la ville des fossiles. Program of the 5 days tour in the desert from Marrakech to Fez

 

Day 1 :Marrakech - High Atlas - Tizi N Tichka pass - Kasbah of Telouat - Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate

The 5-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fez starts with a morning departure around 8:00 am from your accommodation in Marrakech or from the airport. You will then cross the fascinating High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Stops will be made for panoramic views and breathtaking scenery. Then we visit the Kasbah of Telouat.
After that, we continue to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO. In addition, the Kasbah has appeared in many films, including: Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy ... etc.. And also television series including Game Of Thrones. Then we head to "The gateway to the desert" Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 :Ouarzazate - Skoura Amridil Kasbah palm groves - Rose Valley - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we leave to discover the city of Ouarzazate. First, we visit the Atlas Studios, where several famous movies were shot, and we also visit the Kasbah of Taourirt - a fortified mud castle, which is considered one of the oldest and most spectacular Ksars in Morocco. After that, we drive east to visit the Kasbah of Amridil surrounded by the palm grove of Skoura. We will then continue to Kalaa Magouna, famous for its valley of roses. A rose festival takes place every year in May, where the inhabitants offer their rose-based products: perfumes, rose water, oil, cosmetics. Then we head towards the Dades valley via Boumalne Dades. Unavoidable stops at the rock formation of the "monkey fingers", and on a site at the top of a mountain overlooking the Dades valley.

Day 3 :Boumalne Dades - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga - night in a luxury camp

After breakfast, we continue our 5 day tour in the desert to the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has carved a large canyon through the mountains, forming a high canyon with red cliffs. Feel free to walk through the gorge and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Then, you will cross the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. Free time for lunch along the way.
In the afternoon, we reach the desert and the dunes of Merzouga. Where you switch to camels and cross the sandy desert. A stop will be made so that you can enjoy the magical sunset on top of a high dune. Then continue to the camp where you will spend the night in the desert. And where you can enjoy the music of the Berber drums while dancing around the campfire, under a vast sky covered with stars.

Day 4 :Exploration of the Merzouga region - Khamlia - Merzouga lake - Erg Chebbi - palm grove

Departure early in the morning to contemplate the magnificent sunrise, in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast. Then you return by camel to Merzouga, where the driver is waiting for you. We spend the day exploring the Merzouga region. The area has so many incredible sites, from sand dunes, to wild lakes, to mines, to fossil areas, to fabulous oases.
These are ideal places for many outdoor activities.
First, we start our trip in Merzouga, driving off the beaten track to visit an old eyeliner mine. Next, we visit the nomads in their hand-woven tents. Learn how they live while drinking a Berber tea. Our next destination is the village of Khamlia, where you can enjoy Gnaoua music.
Its inhabitants come from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan and Niger. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. Then, we will take a walk in a palm grove. Then we will travel a few kilometers to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also called lake of flamingos.

Day 5 :Dunes of Merzouga - Erfoud - Midelt - Cedar forest - Ifrane - Fez

The last day of your 5-day tour in the desert from Marrakech to Fez. You wake up early in the morning to contemplate a magnificent sunrise in the middle of the desert and the dunes. Free time for breakfast, then you return by camel to Merzouga where the driver is waiting for you. Then we leave the desert to visit the city of Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains an important commercial center in the region, with a large and lively souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. After a walk through the souk of Rissani, we continue to Erfoud where we visit one of the fossilized marble workshops.

Then we drive along the Ziz river, we stop for a panoramic view of the Ziz valley. Free time for lunch in Midelt. Then we continue to the cedar forest, where the Barbary macaques live. Feel free to feed them while walking in the forest. After that we visit Ifrane, famous for its low temperatures, snow and alpine style houses - no wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, we drop you off at the airport or at your accommodation in Fez.
